dear petland workers,

i think you should not be treating the animals this way. the cage should be on the ground and 3 times a day they should be able to go and use the bathroom. that is very wrong because the dogs are in a cage full of many people and if one dies u do not come and check on them very often so how would you know? put your mind in their bodies if your were them would you want that to happen to you? how would you feel?

1)dairy farm animals are diffrent from dairy factories because factories use matchines to pump out the milk and in dairy farms they use there hands.

2)rgbh is a chemical that they put in the cows at the dairy factories. they use it on the factory animals to pump more milk inside of the animal.

3)they have machines to feed the animal out of. the animals all share 1 machine that has many wires for all the animals to eat out of.

4)we can stop buying the milk because they are not giving the animals food they need to eat to be healthy and they are not milking the cow corectly.

1)factory farm animals and  family farm animals are different because family farm animals get to be outside and get food. factory farm animals only get to eat food and they are all squashed together.

2)the animals are fed anibiotic because they need to have more energy. it can be very dangrous because if u give the animal to much medcine they can feel weak off of it.

3)12 million pounds of excerment it polutes the air and ground water.

letter to Barack Obama

Dear Obama,

There are many issues George w. Bush left for you. One of the main issue is war in Iraq.

The war will effect economy and the families of the fallen hereos. Another big issue is economy crisis in u.s and the rest of the world.Obama  many people are counting on you.Also many people want to see what you can do to change the world. Alot of people did not vote for mccain because people thought he wanted to start war and all we need right now is peace. The world is counting on you make a big change please

hi my name is miriam and i have to pick clay up from the fields.

i have to take my brother and sister with me to.

even though my brother and sister juss sit there and watch me i have to work.

its not like i can stop and play with my brother and sister.

i wish i had the life of a normal child.

not working going to school and playing with other children. i pray someone would help me instead of working in the fields i can not wake up as early as i do now and go to school like a child suppose to.

If  i was in charge i would not let this happen because and they need e they are children and they need education.To me it is not fair that kids have to work all day.If i was in charge i would let every child younger then 14 go to school,because # 1 what do they know about working? # 2 they are way to young to be doing what they parents should be doing # 3  it takes away their child life.This is just my statement that i would do to help the children that are young working.

what is your day like? her day is waking up early in the morning going to the fields working

what type of work do you do?     she picks corn and vegetables in the morning 

how does it make you feel?  it doesn't make her feel happy because she is to young to work on the fields 

how do you do  in school? she hardly goes to school because she is way to busy working on the fields 

what do you worry about? she worry's about not going to school and she doesn't have fun because she is always working

why do your parents let you work? her parents let her work because she needs to get and provide food for here and he family

if you cold how would you change your life? she would go to school and not work in the fields anymore

can others help? yes others could help and they can make it much easier because she wont have to do it on her on anymore

hurricane ike

hurricane ike caused many people to lose their homes their families and their food. you can get really hurt maybe even killed if you are outside of your house when hurricane ike is starting. but then again dont think your house is safe because your house can also be floded. very few people live when hurricane ike is finish but you have to be very careful of when it is coming and how you protect yourself.
